Summary of objective implementation status

This activity was completed in January 2023, when the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors adopted the Continuum of Care’s 2023-2027 Homelessness Strategic Plan. 

Key milestone update

• Plan completed in December 2022
• Plan adopted by Continuum of Care Board in December 2022
• Plan adopted by Board of Supervisors in January 2023
• Implementation of First Year priorities underway, with some complete in December 2023

Coordination and partnership update

The development of the 2023-2027 Homelessness Strategic Plan involved multiple stakeholder groups and forums, including participation from cities, County departments, the Continuum of Care, persons with lived experience, service providers, and more. 

Community, equity and climate update

A key focus of the HSP (Strategy 3.2 – Prioritize Funding to Entities that Align with Local Priorities to Promote Equity, Center the Voices of Persons with Lived Experience, and Utilize Evidence-Based Practices) as well as Action Steps 3.2a-d all relate to improving outcomes and representation of persons with lived experience and BIPOC Sonoma Countians.
